THANK YOU to all the participants and
volunteers who made the

2018 Art & Music Showcase a success!

The Kiwanis Club of Marietta held its 3rd annual Art & Music Showcase last Friday March 9th at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre. It was a huge success, providing local middle and high schools a chance to show off their talents. Over 50 pieces of art and 10 musical acts participated, and the talent in both was amazing! Many of the participating students and their families visited the art gallery and learned of the winners selected earlier that day by local art experts. The showcase highlighted both vocalists and musicians, all talented beyond their years! Andy Gaines, executive director of the Strand and a fellow Kiwanian, did a great job as Master of Ceremony and shared interesting facts about both the students and Kiwanis. Arie Motschman, a local well-known accompanist, played for almost all of the students.

All of the contestants were extremely talented, making the judges’ decision very difficult.
